The executive that signed a 13-year-old Lorde joins Warner Music Australasia

Stored A&R executive and music manager Scott Maclachlan has joined Warner Music Australasia as SVP of A&R.

Maclachlan spent two decades working in the UK music industry before relocating to New Zealand in 2008 to work in A&R at Universal Music New Zealand. It was here that he discovered a thirteen-year-old Lorde and signed her to a development deal - which really worked out well for her!
