Taylor Swift is definitely at the point in her career where she has nothing left to prove. But at the same time her Fearless re-works are proving a lot.

The first and original Fearless album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart back in 2008, on November 29th to be exact. And now history is repeating itself.

As reported by BillboardFearless (Taylor's Version) has topped the Billboard 200 chart once again, sitting atop of the rest in the coveted No. 1 spot. This ranking marks Swift's ninth No. 1, with its score also being the biggest week of 2021. Swift took to Instagram to acknowledge the news, writing in a post, "WELL WELL WELL you all really went out and left my greatest expectations in shambles this week. ?"

She continued, "Word on the street is you made Fearless (my version) the biggest country album first week of the last 6 years and the top release of 2021 so far. Honestly??? How?? Did I get this lucky???? I wanted to say thank you to you so today I will be addressing a very pressing issue."

News of the re-release officially kicking into gear broke back in February this year, when Swift announced that the first of her works to receive the re-recorded treatment would be her iconic Fearless album.

Ahead of its release, Swift said, “artists should own their own work for so many reasons. but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really *knows* that body of work. for example, only i know which songs i wrote that almost made the fearless album."

Swift continued, “songs i absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons (don’t want too many breakup songs, don’t want too many down tempo songs, can’t fit that many songs on a physical cd).”

Since releasing the Taylor's Version album, the 'willow' singer has done a great job of keeping her devoted fans on their toes. Particularly when she released that cryptic vault video which for any legit Swiftee, was child's play to decode.
