In the run-up to their BIGSOUND performance, Sydney-based Wonderlick Recording Company this morning announced it has signed Clews to a label deal.

Clews is the fresh project from sisters Lily and Grace Richardson. Their single from earlier this year, Museum, received triple j airplay.

They are the first signing for Dan Crannitch, the latest addition to the Wonderlick A&R team. He came to the fore as frontperson of the band Leader Cheetah.

He says, "When I first heard Museum I instantly felt they had something going on, but the real excitement happened upon hearing the myriad of killer melodies, words and ideas that lay bare after excavating the countless demos they had clocked up in the past year or so...

“Seeing them live was the icing on the cake. We couldn't be happier to be working with such talented artists as Lily and Grace and a big shout-out has to go to Eddie Deal and the team at Unified who, as always, are an absolute pleasure to work with.”

The Wonderlick roster includes Amy Shark, Holy Holy, Montaigne and The Paper Kites.
