One of the main benefactors of Spotify's market dominance are the companies which manufacture bluetooth speakers, a market that it seems Spotify are now planning to muscle into.

This news was uncovered via an online job ad, looking for a Stockholm-based Senior Product Manager for Hardware. The ad details plans to create a "category-defining product akin to Pebble Watch, Amazon Echo, and Snap Spectacles", involving "internet-connected hardware [and] the software that powers it".

There's not a lot to go on there, but it's not a surprising move, considering the user reach the company already enjoys.
