Spotify is drawing some disgruntled users back to night time listening.

For those who like drifting off to sleep to their fave tracks, the streaming service has finally added a long-awaited feature to its Android app: a sleep timer.

Similar to what podcasts offer, it allows users to choose how long they want the music to continue before it automatically cuts off.

With a tap on the appropriate icon in the Now Playing section, they can select five, 10, 15, 30, 45, one hour, or until the end of the track.

Spotify, DSPs, Streaming

The streaming service’s iOS users already have a timer that allows the exact second to be selected.

No more suddenly yanked into the world of the living by the soft tones of Metallica or AC/DC at 3 in the morning.
