Peking Duk is the latest Aussie music act to get on board with food delivery services.

The duo have become the faces of Uber Eats in the brand's Eat Local campaign.

The campaign will run across out-of-home, street murals, social and talent channels.

The band - made up of Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde - said: "It's such an exciting opportunity to partner with Uber Eats on the Eat Local campaign. Especially being able to feature the most legendary local eats in Kensington and the surrounding areas - the place that made us who we are and where we really knuckled down to pursue music.

"It's been a tough time for restaurants during the past few years, and now it's time for us all to go support and rediscover what local eateries can offer."

Bec Nyst, general manager of Uber Eats ANZ, added: "It's been a challenging time for many locally-owned restaurant businesses, and to help support their recovery, we're linking up with restaurants in every state and territory to promote them through digital campaigns and on the Uber Eats app.

"We are also partnering with local legends like Peking Duk to help people discover a diverse range of restaurants in their neighbourhoods."

The campaign was put together by Hello Social, while the hand-painted mural comes from Apparition.

This is not Peking Duk's first food-based activation or campaign.

In February, the band paired up with KFC to create the limited edition Peking Cluk burger as part of KFC's Feastival event.

This is also not the first time food delivery conglomerates have called on local music acts as part of their promotional efforts.

Uber Eats itself has previously used the likes of  Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham as part of its 'Tonight, I'll Be Eating' campaign.

Rival Menulog, meanwhile, has used international superstars including Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry, as well as local acts Baker Boy, Kirsten Salty, Spiller and Big Twisty.
