Noisy Group has expanded its East Coast live music footprint, adding six venues across Queensland and New South Wales to its roster. The company has also taken over the programming for Salty Sounds festival, and has unveiled plans to launch a new festival brand in 2027.

The independent live programming company continues to scale its national network, with the latest additions spanning a mix of metropolitan hubs, regional centres, and coastal destinations. The move is set to strengthen touring routes along the East Coast, offering artists more consistent and diverse venue options outside of traditional capital city circuits.

Noisy Group co-founder Matt Wise said the expansion is focused on building a venue ecosystem that prioritises both artist experience and audience engagement. “We’re building a roster of venues that artists genuinely want to play,” he said. “From iconic pubs to coastal stages and large festival environments, it’s about creating spaces where great live music thrives. These venues all have their own identity and loyal audiences - which is exactly what touring artists are looking for.”

Among the new additions is Distillery Road Market in Eagleby, a large-scale food and entertainment precinct positioned between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with capacity for up to 1,500 in its main room.

Meanwhile in Sydney’s north, Hornsby RSL brings a substantial, well-connected venue with capacity up to 1,200 and a strong membership base. Further up the New South Wales coast, Tacking Point Tavern in Port Macquarie, The Coffs Hotel in Coffs Harbour, and Royal Hotel Kew on the Mid North Coast add to the region’s established touring circuit, each offering strong local audiences and consistent live programming histories.

In Newcastle, The Beach Hotel - located opposite Merewether Beach - rounds out the expansion with a high-profile coastal venue known for its music-led programming and community focus.

Collectively, the additions bolster Noisy Group’s ability to support national tours with more streamlined routing across the East Coast, particularly as demand for regional and destination shows continues to grow.

Beyond venues, Noisy Group will also take the reins of programming and artist curation for the 2026 Salty Sounds Festival, set to take place at Old Bar Tavern on Saturday, September 26th. The one-day coastal event will spotlight Australian talent, with artist submissions now open.

Finally, looking ahead, the company has confirmed plans to launch a new festival brand in Sydney in 2027, marking a further step into owned and operated events.

The latest expansion signals Noisy Group’s continued growth within Australia’s live sector, as operators look to build more flexible, connected touring networks across metro and regional markets.
