Canberra's unapologetic punk-rockers Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have announced their new label home and management deal.

Canberra's unapologetic punk-rockers Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have announced their new label home and management deal.
The four-piece is now signed to Unified Music Group's Domestic La La, home to Dear Seattle, West Thebarton and LOSER, and have joined UNIFIED Artist Management, where they'll work closely with the management firm's Ash Hills (Client Liaison, Stellie) and Sarah McMillan (Slowly Slowly, WAAX, Mo'Ju, Congrats).
The announcement arrives as the band release new single 'AHHHH!', a rousing punk jam "about navigating a relationship with someone you have known for a long time but their character changes".
"You find yourself making excuses for them and forgiving them when the answer is clear that sometimes you just need to ditch and move the heck on!" says Anna Ryan, the band's vocalist, of the track.

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have been industry and fan-favourites since they arrived on the scene in 2019. They've performed BIGSOUND, Groovin’ The Moo, Laneway, Falls, Lost Paradise, Spilt Milk, and supported acts like Polish Club, Alex Lahey, Press Club, and WAAX.
Now with an all-female management team - along with new mentor and friend in Domestic La La/Violent Soho’s James Tidswell - the band is becoming a force to be reckoned with.

“We just want to be loud," says guitarist/vocalist Scarlett McKahey. "We’re obviously into the punk side of things and speaking our mind, so it’s not 'pop' fun, I’d say it’s more 'angry' fun.
"… at the end of the day, at the live shows we just want to allow everyone a space to have a really fun time and be themselves.”
