Community and online education platform Music Production for Women (MPW) has announced free online music masterclasses for female and non-gender conforming musicians.

On January 13th, MPW will host a full day of masterclasses, titled Master Your Music. This initiative, backed by Creative Australia, aims to empower artists in the music production space.

Last year’s course attracted nearly 500 artists. Now, it's return this month will be run by Xylo Aria, MPW's award-winning founder and CEO, Grammy award-winning engineer Natalia Milanesi, and Music PR specialist AK Siegl.

Master Your Music will offer five live workshops covering the basics of music production, vocal production, and music marketing and PR. The day will culminate in a networking session, giving attendees the chance to connect with fellow musicians globally.

Last year's participant Alieksandra Kritskaia said, "I obtained more knowledge during these hours than in the last few months!"

MPW's Xylo Aria said: “We designed this day to be a perfect first step where artists, particularly women, can get a taste of music production, while making new friends in a safe and encouraging space.”

Since its inception four years ago, MPW has been recognised as a Top 50 Innovator in East London and a finalist in Australia’s Business xCellence Awards. Catering to over 8,000 musicians from more than 120 countries, MPW remains committed to empowering women in music technology.
