Migos member Offset arrested on felony gun charges

Three handguns, more than $107,000 in cash and less than an ounce of marijuana were allegedly found in Offset's Porsche.

New father and member of hip-hop group MigosOffset has been arrested on two felony gun charges as well as drug and traffic issues.

According to police, he and his bodyguard Senay Gezahgn were pulled over in his Porsche 911 in Jonesboro just outside Atlanta on Friday afternoon local time when an officer noticed the car failed to stay in its lane.

They say Offset (real name: Kiari Kendrell Cephus) was the driver.

Police allege the vehicle smelled of marijuana, so a search was made of the car.

Three handguns, more than $107,000 in cash and less than an ounce of marijuana were allegedly found.

The 26-year-old is on probation for a 2015 arrest on drugs and weapons charges.

He is now charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime.

He also faces misdemeanour charges for marijuana possession and making an improper lane change.

Gezahgn was charged with possession of marijuana, less than 1 ounce, and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

Offset was bailed and back home with wife Cardi B and their new daughter Kulture.

She is his first child with the Brooklyn rapper and his fourth child.

In 2015, Offset spent jail time on drug and gun charges during a concert at Georgia Southern University.

A year later, he was arrested in 2016 for driving with a suspended license in Atlanta.

Migos could be visiting Australia in mid-summer. This morning the band announced it would be in the region in January, announcing it was headlining the Bay Dreams festival in New Zealand on new year's day.
