Michael Gudinski to be honoured at state funeral in Melbourne
Premier Daniel Andrews said Gudinski had an "irrepressible spark which entertained our state for 50 years".

Legendary music man Michael Gudinski will receive a state funeral in Victoria following his shock passing yesterday.
Victoria's Premier Daniel Andrews said he had been to see Gudinski's wife, Sue, last night to offer the service, and she accepted.
"It will be a celebration of his life - the details will be finalised in coming days," he said, calling Gudinski a "great Victorian".
Andrews noted the event had to be COVID-Safe, but would involve coming together at an "iconic venue" to celebrate his life and the legacy he had left.
Tributes for the founder of Mushroom Group and Frontier Touring has poured in since news of his death broke, with everyone from music fans to politicians, and local artists to international giants remembering the game-changing impact he had.
