As Rolling Stone AU/NZ reports, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tyler, the Creator will headline Lollapalooza 2025, with Luke Combs, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Gracie Abrams, and Doechii placed high on the bill.

For Rodrigo, this will mark her first time performing at Lollapalooza, while Carpenter played at the mega-fest two years ago. Tyler, the Creator last played Lolla in 2021, and was set to headline in 2024 but had to drop out.

Combs, RS reports, will make history as Lolla’s first country closer, while TWICE will be the first female K-pop group to headline the Chicago iteration of the festival. And Korn will return to Lollapalooza for the first time since 1997.

Lollapalooza is the brainchild of the late Australia artist manager and concert promoter Ted Gardener.

With Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Gardner launched Lollapalooza in 1991, a festival brand that would one become one of the largest and most iconic music events on the planet, and one of the longest-running shows of its kind in the States.

The four-day event will feature more than 170 artists performing across eight stages. Other notable acts for this year include Clairo, Cage the Elephant, Bleachers, Mk.Gee, T-Pain, The Marías, Dominic Fike, Finneas, Remi Wolf, Bladee, Marina, Magdalena Bay, Jpegmafia, Latin Mafia, Isaiah Rashad, Fujii Kaze, Mau P, Barry Can’t Swim, Gigi Perez, Jane Remover, 2Hollis, Mariah the Scientist, Amaarae, the Dare, Ian, and Del Water Gap.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Australian music fans at Glastonbury Festival 2025 will have at least one homegrown act to scream at for each day of the music program. As previously reported, Amyl and the Sniffers, Royel Otis and Glass Beams will play at Glasto, the granddaddy of UK fests.

Over the past few days, the festival has been teasing parts of the lineup on social media with performances from the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra (which will also take the stage at this year’s festival).

Dom Dolla and RÜFÜS DU SOL were both shortlisted for the 2025 Rolling Stone Australia Awards, announced last week. Dolla, fresh off two sell-outs at NYC's Madison Square Garden and a record-setting tour of Australia, is nominated for best single, best live act, and the Rolling Stone Global Award. RÜFÜS DU SOL are nominated for Best LP/EP.
