'KPop Demon Hunters' has been a massive success story for Netflix, pulling in more than 500 million streams since its premiere.

The stars of KPop Demon Hunters are coming to the BAFTAs.
Following their historic Grammy win, EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform the film's headlining track, "Golden", at the BAFTA Awards later this month. This will mark their first live performance outside of the US.
In a statement released Tuesday, the group said they were “proud” to perform at Britain’s biggest night in film, adding that it’s a “golden moment that our younger selves could never have imagined.”
The BAFTAs will air on Sunday, February 22nd.

“It does feel so miraculous in some ways and destined in other ways … We’re just trying to process it all,” Nuna told reporters after “Golden” won Best Song for Visual Media at the 2026 Grammys.
“This is crazy because this is like a historical moment for you know, as being a Korean American,” EJAE added. “It’s a song that also represents Korea.”
Speaking to Rolling Stone in August about the unexpected success of the film and the positive reaction to the music, songwriter Mark Sonnenblick said the overwhelming response is “a testament to the hundreds of people who worked on this film.”
The soundtrack to the popular Netflix animated musical established a new record in Australia last year as it held at No. 1 on the national albums tally for a sixth non-consecutive week, tying with Sabrina Carpenter’s Short N’ Sweet as the longest-reigning collection in 2025 at the time.
According to ARIA, it was the biggest chart-topper from an animated movie since the official charts launched in 1983, beating Trolls (three weeks at No. 1 in 2017), Frozen (two weeks in 2014), and others.
