In one of its first public actions since declaring itself a political party, Keep Sydney Open is hosting a forum on the future of Sydney’s nightlife and how to achieve the vision.

The organisation said, “This is an opportunity to learn about where Sydney is currently at and how we can improve our city.

“You’ll be asked for your ideas plus get to meet other likeminded people who are passionate about Sydney nightlife and culture.”

The night will feature a discussion hosted by SBS Viceland’s Jan Fran with Sydney deputy lord mayor Jess Miller, with Anna Burns — former general manager of Future Classic and Modular along with roles at FBi Radio and TEDxSydney — and KSO’s Tyson Koh.

The discourse will cover how to make Sydney cities part of the next NSW state election, and “craft actions that will set us on the path of achieving these goals.”

It is held on August 23 from 6pm at 107 Projects, 107 Redfern St in Redfern.

Only those signed to KSO’s mailing list can attend.
