Kate Miller-Heidke aerial-spins Australia into Eurovision grand final

Australia has entered the Eurovision grand final after a dazzling aerial acrobatics performance of ‘Zero Gravity’ by Kate Miller-Heidke at the Wednesday, May 15 semi-final.

The singer-songwriter got high marks from both the judges and the TV audience.

She and ‘Zero Gravity’ have been creating a buzz since the Australian delegation arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel and went straight into rehearsals.

Also making it into this weekend’s grand final are Greece, Belarus, Serbia, Cyprus, Estonia, Czech Republic, Iceland, San Marino, Slovenia, Montenegro, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Belgium, Georgia and Portugal.

The entire Semi Final 1 is broadcast in Australia on Thursday, May 16 from 8:30pm on SBS and SBS On Demand.
