John Glenn Steps Down From MusicSA Board
John Glenn is stepping down from the MusicSA board, the industry group confirmed in a LinkedIn statement this week.

The news broke in a LinkedIn post via MusicSA on Wednesday evening.
"We have some news to share and while it is bittersweet, it is cause for celebration," the post began.
"After 5 years as Chair of the MusicSA Board, John Glenn will be stepping down from the role following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of AANT Centre in the Northern Territory.
"John's contribution to MusicSA and to South Australian music more broadly, has been significant. His leadership, strategic vision and genuine passion for the arts have strengthened our organisation in ways that will endure long beyond his time as Chair.
"We are proud to see John take on such a meaningful role in Australia's cultural landscape, and we wish him every success as he begins this new chapter."
The post concluded: "Stay tuned for updates on our incoming Board Chair."

In a statement shared on MusicSA's website, Glenn expressed his gratitude for his five years in the role.
“It has been one of my career highlights working with Christine Schloithe, the whole MusicSA team and a very focused and passionate Board to improve the opportunities for emerging South Australian musicians and the whole music ecosystem," he said.
"The last five years as Chair has been a time of huge renewal and momentum building for MusicSA and it has been a privilege to help foster and advocate for the significant growth that we have been able to achieve.
"Working closely with the Government of South Australia as our principal partner, along with many wonderful sponsors and supporters we have been able to make a real difference and I will continue to watch the journey that MusicSA is on and cheer from the far North!”
MusicSA CEO, Christine Schloithe said: “The MusicSA Board and Staff extends the warmest of congratulations to John for his new role in Darwin. John has served five years as the Chair of MusicSA and critically, has provided stability, assurance and exceptional stewardship.
"We wish him all the very best. John will retire from the MusicSA Board of Management at the AGM in several months and is working closely with the Board on succession planning and the announcement of our next Chair."
