GYROstream is launching some groundbreaking new opportunities for local independent artists in the world of sync and brand partnerships.

The distribution and artist services company provides direct access to revenue that has predominantly been reserved for artists signed to major labels. To support these offerings, the company has announced the appointments of Dan Gibson as Head of Publishing and Sync and Nathan Tito as Publicity and Partnerships Manager, both based in Sydney.

Gibson has already secured results for GYROstream artists with Google Pixel and Reece Plumbing among others, and will be working across GYROstream's brands Distro Direct and GROUP SPEED. His role extends beyond Australia and will see him visit SXSW, Los Angeles, and New York over the next two months to deepen relationships with global music supervisors and decision-makers.

“Our goal is to build a truly international framework where indie artists can thrive in the sync space,” Gibson said. “This is just the beginning, and we’re excited about what’s to come.”

Tito has also joined the team as Publicity and Partnerships Manager to forge impactful brand collaborations for priority artists. He's previously executed high-profile activations for the Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix and Patrón Tequila, Crown Melbourne and Grey Goose Vodka, aligning the latter with huge international artists Chance The Rapper, Kehlani, and Ella Mai.

Tito has already secured opportunities for GYROstream artists on the ARIAs red carpet in collaboration with Oxford House, with Universal Pictures Premieres, Red Bull and Ovolo Hotels. GYROstream's access to these high-level partnerships means they have never been more accessible to independent artists outside of the major label system.

“These kinds of opportunities have historically been reserved for artists within the major label ecosystem. We’re changing that,” says Andy Irvine, CEO of GYROstream. “Independent artists deserve the same access to sync and brand partnerships as anyone else, and we’re building the infrastructure to make that happen.”
