Former BMG senior creative sync director Allegra Caldwell has launched GOODFIND, an Australian music company specialising in supervision, licensing and composition for commercial use.

Based in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, GOODFIND will act as a medium for Australian creators to reach local and international audiences through TV, film and advertising.

GOODFIND will also donate a portion of its annual profits to a charity every financial year, with the company announcing Support Act as this year's beneficiary.

To bolster its roster upon launch, GOODFIND has recruited guitarist, producer and Third Eye Stimuli co-founder Rick Snowden to head the company's custom composition arm, with the composer having recently contributed music to campaigns for Porsche, OMF, Vans and Fella Swimwear.

The new company will see Caldwell return to a music supervision role after working for rights holders for the past seven years.

The 2020 TMN 30 Under 30 winner said she was looking forward to working with local acts through the new venture.

“I’m excited to be back doing music supervision. It has always been my passion and now to have GOODFIND, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with creators in Australia and abroad,” Caldwell said.

“The name not only speaks to finding and licensing the best music for our clients, but also that it’s important to me that we are doing good whilst we are doing business.”

Over the past decade, Caldwell has represented the catalogues of acts such as AC/DC, Nirvana, Julia Stone, Fatboy Slim and Tim Minchin, with her most recent role at BMG seeing her oversee sync and licensing for clients like Amazon, Netflix and HBO.
