Facebook wants you to express yourself through music
Let your friends know a lot more about your listening preferences.

Australian and global Facebook users get three new features from this morning.
They “will allow users to express themselves and connect with others through music on the platform,” according to the company.
Music on Stories
Users can go beyond simply sharing what they’re listening to.
Now, when users take a photo or video from the Facebook Camera or grab one from their camera roll, they can find and add a song directly to their Stories to enhance the moment.
Lip Sync Live
Facebook has been slowly rolling out Lip Sync Live, making it possible for people around the world to go live and express themselves with music.
As of today, there are several updates to the feature:
- Lip Sync Live has now been rolled out to profiles around the world
- It is available to more artists and creators by expanding to Pages, giving them more ways for them to connect with and engage fans around music.
- Lyrics have been added making it easier to sing along.

Songs on profile
Users will soon have the ability to add music to their profile.
As part of this, users will be able to pin a song to the top of their profile for people to see it more easily, discover new music and learn more about them.
