End of the road for SBS’s RocKwiz

After months of uncertainty about its future, SBS has officially confirmed that Rockwiz will not be returning.

The show first premiered in 2005.

SBS channel manager Ben Nguyen told TV Tonight, as part of a larger piece on the channel’s 2019 offerings.

“The decision we’ve made is that it is time to call an end to RocKwiz after a long success on SBS,” he said.

“Julia (Zemiro, co-host) became a big talent through SBS but it is a natural decision as channels evolve and moving into new spaces over time.”
