Australia's Dope Lemon Enters ARIA Albums Top 10 as Gracie Abrams Takes No. 1

Angus Stone’s Dope Lemon project has secured a top 10 debut on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart with Golden Wolf, landing at #8. It marks the fifth album under the Dope Lemon name and continues Stone’s run of laid-back psych-pop records that continue to hit home with Aussie listeners.

Dope Lemon hit #11 in 2016 with Honey Bones, #2 in 2019 with Smooth Big Cat, #2 in 2022 with Rose Pink Cadillac and #9 in 2023 with Kimosabe.

Meanwhile, it’s US singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams who has taken the top spot with The Secret of Us. Currently touring Australia, Abrams’ soft pop sound is only gaining popularity and has seen her return to #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Abrams' tour continues across the country, with dates in Melbourne on May 11, Adelaide on May 13, and Perth on May 16 and 17.

Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet holds steady at #2, followed by Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft at #3.

Elsewhere on the chart, UK icons Pink Floyd enter at #27 with Pink Floyd At Pompeii – MCMLXXII. It’s the first time the historic 1971 concert has been available on vinyl.

On the ARIA Singles Chart, Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” continues its reign at #1. In its seventh straight week, the track is now the longest-running #1 by a solo male artist since Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” in 2023.

Gracie Abrams also claims #2 on the Singles Chart with “That’s So True”, while Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” holds strong at #3.

Fresh off her Coachella appearance and ahead of her upcoming Aussie visit, Jessie Murph debuts at #31 with “Blue Strips”. UK singer-songwriter Myles Smith also sees a big jump up the chart, with “Stargazing” moving from #49 to #29.
