David Hume joins The Orchard AU/NZ as their new manager of artist services

The Orchard, the powerhouse Sony Music-owned distributor and label services company, has welcomed David Hume as the Manager of the company's Artist Services in Australia.

Following the appointment of Blake Rayner as the General Manager of the company’s Australia and New Zealand business back in June, the Australian branch of the company has expanded once more, with David Hume joining the team.

Having served as the Artist Manager at Boundary Sounds for quite some time, Hume has worked with some of Australia's most recognisable names, including Little May, Moonbase, Nicole Millar, and Clubfeet, just to name a few.

As the Manager of Artist Services at The Orchard in Australia and New Zealand, Hume is set work very closely in the fields of A&R, campaign strategies, and team coordination for the company's labels and artists, helping to foster close relationships, and undoubtedly playing a vital role in helping some of Australia's next crop of artists breaking onto the global stage.
