The best independent label nominees have been announced for the 2017 AIR Awards

The 2017 AIR Awards are set to take place later this month in Adelaide, and just a over a week out from the event, the Australian Independent Record Labels Association have announced the nominees in the category of 'Best Independent Label'.

The Australian Independent Record Labels Association have today announced that the nominees for the 2017 AIR Awards' category of 'Best Independent Label’ are Barely Dressed Records, Elefant Traks, UNFD, Jazzhead, I OH YOU and Pieater.

Taking place at the Queen's Theatre on Thursday, July 27th, and hosted by media personality and beloved host of Recovery, Dylan Lewis, the event will also feature a number of live performances as well, with A.B. Original, Ngaiire, Henry Wagons, Russell Morris, and Elizabeth Rose all set to perform on the night.

Following the event will also be a number of label afterparties open to the general public, with entry free for all AIR attendees. ABC Music's will be held at The Hotel Metropolitan, with entry being free, while Future Classic's will be held at Sunny's Pizza, with free entry offered there as well. Chugg Music will hold their afterparty at Jive Bar, with tickets being $15, while Golden Era Records & Bad Apples will hold their afterparty at Rocket Bar, with tickets $20 through MoshTix.
