Baker Boy was the big winner at this year's Music Victoria Awards.

The singer-songwriter walked away with three awards, including the prestigious Best Album award for his acclaimed album Gela. It brings Baker Boy's total tally of Music Victoria Awards to an impressive eight.

Other First Nations talent also did well, with Emma Donovan & The Putbacks winning Best Group and Mo'Ju being honoured in the Best Soul, Funk, R&B or Gospel category.

After previously winning Best Breakthrough Act two years ago, Melbourne punks Pinch Points won Best Rock or Punk Work.

For the first time in Music Victoria Awards history, the brand-new Best DJ award was shared between Jennifer Loveless and MzRizk.
