Audio Network has detailed the appointment of several new APAC team members to coincide with its 20th-anniversary celebrations.

Among the raft of new hires for the original music licensing platform is Troy Barrott, former senior distribution label manager at Believe Digital, who has joined Audio Network as director of sales for APAC.

Reporting directly to global commercial director Andy Williams, Barrott will lead Audio Network's Sydney team to deliver new commercial and creative initiatives in the region, including a revised A&R strategy and business expansion into Shanghai.

The company has also announced the hire of Kaitlyn Pearce as music licensing manager for APAC, who will work alongside licensing executives Mike Bentley and Patrick Thackray, and music researcher Kasey Thompson in Audio Network's local advertising team.

Meanwhile, Emily Norton has been promoted to head of film and television, while Kat Tame has also been appointed as music researcher and customer services manager, with Stuart Tam also being hired as music licensing specialist to focus on the company's expansion into China.

Representatives from Audio Network have been contacted to provide further detail on the company's Australian endeavours.
