Today, the event's first round of performing artists have been announced; David Garnham & The Reasons To Live and Gretta Ziller are to be joined by artists from all over the country including Leanne Tennant and Canadian visitors The Carbons and Hey Major.

Australian Music Week curator Geoff Trio has spoken about the 2019 lineup and it's defining of a thriving Australian scene moving forward.

"In our fifth year we are proud to be producing an event that is as relevant not only to industry delegates but also to those that enjoy multiple styles of music in their playlists."

"Australian Music Week is a non-genre specific music event and this year we will be opening up to the public with free access to all performances on Cronulla Beach across all five days."
