Adelaide Fringe is on the hunt for a talented artist to design the poster artwork for its 2022 arts festival.

Supported by BankSA, the poster design competition invites amateurs, hobbyists and professionals to submit their own original designs, with the winning artwork becoming the face of the Southern Hemisphere's largest arts event.

Fringe organisers are encouraging artists to encapsulate the diverse, unique and celebratory aspects of the Adelaide festival in their designs, proving that Fringe is the place to be in February and March of 2022.

Entry for the competition is free, with the winner also receiving a cash prize of $3,000 and free registration to hold an exhibition at the 2022 festival.

Adelaide Fringe director and CEO Heather Croall encouraged entrants to tap into the"life-affirming force" of the festival with their entries.

“Adelaide Fringe is a huge explosion of creativity for all to experience; Fringe transforms the city into a magic arts and festival landscape," Croall said,

"Fringe fills us with joy and invites everyone to participate in uplifting and unforgettable experiences that transport us to new realms. We would love to see entries from far and wide for this year’s poster.”
