Entertainment Consulting inks management deals with O'Shea and Hinterland

Entertainment Consulting has announced two new management signings, award-winning duo O'Shea and contemporary country newcomers Hinterland.

O'Shea's signing comes ahead of the arrival of their new single, 'Nashville Indiana', on April 30 through Sony. Their forthcoming album will be released next year, around the time of Tamworth Country Music Festival's 50th anniversary.

“I’ve known Mark and Jay O’Shea for a long time, so when the call came in from Nashville to ask if I’d be keen to jump on board and after hearing their new songs, it was an immediate yes," Entertainment Consulting CEO Karen-lee Goody said in a statement.

"Mark and Jay are so creative and can turn their hand to anything. We’re also working on re-booting a new TV/podcast interview-based series and some other cool plans."

Hinterland released their debut EP Loud last year. According to Goody, Hinterland was the "fastest signing I've ever done".

"Within 24 hours of receiving a text from their producer, Stuart Stuart, two days later a meeting with Jesse and Robbie in Byron Bay, whilst I was on a very wet rainy holiday break, the deal was done in one week," Goody said.

"These guys are exceptionally talented, individually and collectively and have a great back story and pedigree let alone amazing songwriters with great hit country songs."

The two new acts join Entertainment Consulting's current roster of Amber Lawrence, Christie Lamb and Monique Montez. In the past the agency has overseen tours for Dami Im, Anthony Callea, Mitch Tambo, Samantha Jade, The McClymonts and more.
