Melbourne-based label Endless Recordings has signed Danika as the artist releases her new single 'If You Call My Name'.

Endless founder Alex Cameron said the label is ecstatic and very fortunate to be working with Danika.

"I watched her soundcheck at the Tote, just her, an amp and a strat that she played left-handed and upside down. I was spellbound. I knew immediately that she was on a different plane to most other artists."

Danika said her new single is a contradictory love song.

"A tale of navigating mixed messages, tolerating shitty behaviour and continuing to turn up because we think it's what we deserve," she said. "Moving between the ideal we wish for and the reality of having your heart squeezed by an unworthy man. The chorus is angelic, longing and pure, while the verse is crass, confused and angry."

Danika's EP When Love Comes will be released on October 15 via Endless Recordings.
