SOTD: G Flip is fearless on ‘I Am Not Afraid’

Aussie breakthrough act G Flip is at it again with her third single release of 2019.

‘I Am Not Afraid’ is an anthem of resilience and self-empowerment stemming from a strong declaration: “I am not afraid to do this alone / I know that it scares you but I am my own home”.

The single was co-produced by Ariel Rechstaid (Vampire Weekend, HAIM). 

The timing of the release is no coincidence. The singer/songwriter/drummer is set to take the stage this weekend at Groovin The Moo, followed by a run of headline shows across Australia in May. 

G Flip achieved a new PB on the TMN Hot 100 in January with ‘Drink Too Much’. The single hit #85, eclipsing the chart peak of ‘About You’ (#88).

‘Drink Too Much’ was also the first single from G Flip to get day spins on commercial radio thanks to Arvo/Weekends adoption by Hit105 Brisbane.
