Hot 100

Five weeks is how long Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney have spent at #1 on the TMN Hot 100 with FourFiveSeconds. That time may come to an end come next week’s chart however with Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do moving up to #2 from #3 and Jarryd James’ Do You Remember taking #3 from #15. Both are very likely contenders for #1 with still plenty of room to move while FourFiveSeconds only has downwards to go.

Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand moves up to #15 from #33, in prime position to break into the Top 10 come next week’s chart. Galantis’ Runaway sees a jump to #31 from #53 while Carly Rae Jepsen’s I Really Like You hits #37 from #64 and Years & Years’ King makes #39 from #77. It’s a great week to be Diplo with Major Lazer & DJ Snake’s Lean On moving to #14 from #31 and Jack U’s Where Are U Now featuring Justin Bieber jumping from #84 to #34, a total of 50 positions, making him this week’s most moved track.

Only one debut takes place in the Top 50 this week with Madonna’s Ghosttown entering the chart at #40. The next highest entry is outside the Top 50 with Hozier’s Someone New at #60. Expect both to rapidly climb the chart in the coming weeks.

ARIA Singles

LunchMoney Lewis holds #1 on the ARIA Singles chart this week with Bills, while Jarryd James’ Do You Remember hits a new peak at #2 up from #8. Major Lazer & DJ Snakes’ Lean On featuring MÖ hits #4 up from #10. Jason Derulo’s Want To Want Me breaks into the Top 10 from #27 and Jack U’s Where Are U Now featuring Justin Bieber just narrowly misses out, landing at #13 from #24. James Bay’s Let It Go takes out highest debut at #30 followed by Jess Glynne’s Hold My Hand at #35 and Carly Rae Jepsen’s I Really Like You at #37.

ARIA Albums

Last week’s #2 debut Lee Kernaghan’s Spirit Of The Anzacs sees a jump to #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this week. It becomes his first ever #1 ARIA charting album and pushes Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly to #2. James Bay’s Chaos And The Calm debuts at #3 this week while Courtney Barnett’s Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit lands a #4 debut. It becomes Barnett’s first ARIA Album chart debut and follows her two previous EP’s I’ve Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris (2012) and How To Carve A Carrot Into A Rose (2013). At #6 is yet another debut with Alison Wonderland’s Run taking the position. Ed Sheeran’s X manages to move up to #5 from #7 while + jumps to #14 from #44, all movement no doubt thanks to his current Australian tour.
