Country crossovers continue to infiltrate commercial radio, with US artist Blanco Brown the latest exponent.

His debut track 'The Git Up' is this week's TMN Hot 100 Heatseeker, jumping up 30 frames on the chart.

Blanco released the song way back in April, and it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart in early July.

In recent weeks Aussie radio has come on board, and Hit Network Nights and Nova's Smallzy's Surgery added extra spins this week to catapult the song to a new peak position at #51.

It's also been picked up by Brisbane country music station 98.9FM, and is primed to impact the TMN Country Airplay Chart with increased support across country radio.

The song's popularity originally stems from a video featuring Brown teaching country artist Lainey Wilson how to do the 'Git Up' challenge, leading to the track featuring on hundreds of thousands of Tik Tok videos.

It's the latest country crossover track to be championed by commercial radio, treading a path paved by Lil Nas X's global smash hit 'Old Town Road'.
