ARIA Charts: Missy Higgins to land sixth Top 10 album debut

Missy Higgins, one of Australia’s most enduring and beloved singer-songwriters, is heading back to the Top 10 on the ARIA Albums Chart this week with her latest album The Special Ones.  

Higgins has three #1 albums in Australia, dating back to 9x ARIA Platinum debut record The Sound Of White. Previous effort Sostalgia peaked at #3 earlier this year.

Fellow Aussie Samantha Jade is on course for the Albums Chart Top 20 with festive release The Magic Of Christmas. Jade’s 2012 eponymous album remains the singer’s most successful to date (#3).

The only other debuts on the chart this week, according to mid-week data, are Rita Ora’s Phoenix (Top 30) and Take That’s Odyssey (Top 50).

Billie Eilish has the highest single debut at the halfway stage of the week with 'come out and play' vying for a spot in the lower part of the chart.

Hilltop Hoods are also likely to debut in a similar position with new single 'Leave Me Lonely'.
