Amrap Chart Wrap - Community Radio Charts and a New Live Performance Space

The Amrap Metro and Amrap Regional Charts give a snapshot of what’s gaining airplay and attention on community radio. The charts show the Top 10 tracks ordered for airplay by community broadcasters through the Amrap’s AirIt music distribution service. This week’s charts see more debuts and the launch of a brand new live-to-air performance space at one of Sydney’s major music stations.

Dark Fair’s Listen Up held on to the #1 spot on the Amrap Metro Chart for the second week running. The industrial pop stylings of Listen Up is also still in the Amrap Regional Chart at #6. The music video is gaining traction on community radio websites via our Amrap Pages service including here on Perth’s RTR, Brisbane’s 4ZZZ, Melbourne’s Triple R, South West Sydney’s 2MCR Harvey Community Radio WA and 2BOB in NSW.

Dave Crowe’s Where Do You Go took #1 on the Amrap Regional Chart, up from its #2 debut last week. The Alice Springs-based artist is getting solid airplay across regional community radio including Eden Community Radio in NSW, 5GTR in Mount Gambier SA and Mitchell Community Radio Kilmore in VIC.

Adelaide offbeat hip hop starlet Tkay Maidza debuted at #8 on the Amrap Metro Chart with M.O.B. She’s performing this Thursday at the first official ‘Local Live at FBi’ gig at FBi Radio’s new performance space. Catch her live-to-air from 5:30-6pm on 94.5FM in Sydney or stream online on FBi Radio’s Thursday Arvo program.

Sassy soul songstress Andrea Marr took #3 on the Amrap Regional Chart with Summer Love, up four spots from its debut last week. She’s now getting airplay in every State and Territory with strong support in regional stations including Mountain District Radio and Emerald in Vic, Harvey Community Radio in WA, across NSW and here on Tyga FM in Tasmania.

Babaganouj moved up three places to take #2 on the Amrap Metro Chart with Can’t Stop. The vocal melody and guitar solo laden track also crossed over into the Amrap Regional Chart, debuting at #5. Can’t Stop is in SYN FM’s Sweet Sixteen and 4ZZZ’s Top 20
